It’s up and open! “Opa-locka: Mirage City,” an exploration of one of South Florida’s most architecturally unusual places, opened on June 27. Learning From Miami was there – here’s what we saw.
“Opa-locka: Mirage City” is curated by Jose R. Vazquez, Associate Professor of Architecture at Miami Dade College, and presented in conjunction with the Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archives at Miami Dade College and the University of Miami Libraries, Special Collections. “Opa-locka: Mirage City” will be on view at HistoryMiami through September 08, 2013.
